Marion Campus Giving Tree Project
The OSUM Psychology Club is again sponsoring the annual Marion Campus Giving Tree Project, in which we can all help needy families during the holiday season.
In the entrance to Morrill Hall is a tree decorated with paper ornaments, each containing the name of a boy or girl or mom, his or her age, and some appropriate gift suggestions. The children are supported by Turning Point and need a special holiday.
If you would like to participate:
Participation is open to anyone interested in helping these families. The Psychology Club would like to thank everyone for their help with this seasonal service project
1) Visit a Giving Tree and select an ornament with the name and age of a boy or girl or mom (and gift suggestions).
2) Purchase your gift and wrap it, with the paper ornament taped to the wrapping to identify it.
(Consider going together with other people if it is a larger gift item.)
3) Bring your gift to the Student Services Building Career Center (room 124) or Faculty Services in Morrill Hall (room 150) and place it in the special box in hallway. (If giving a check, make out to OSUM Psychology Club.)
All gifts must be returned by 12 noon on Wednesday of Finals Week.
Psychology Club members will then make sure the gifts get to Turning Point, who will then deliver them to the families so they can have a nice holiday season.
