Beth Fohl Bailey is an adjunct professor of psychology at the Ohio State University at Marion. She attended Marian College in Indianapolis for her B.A. As a graduate student she attended The Ohio State University, earning her M.A. in 1990 and receiving her Ph.D. in Clinical-Child Psychology within the Developmental track in 1996. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Virginia Medical Center. As a graduate research assistant at The Ohio State University, Dr. Fohl Bailey worked on the development of a program to prevent adolescent drug use. The focus of this program was to enhance parent adolescent relationships. She also was a graduate teaching assistant at The Ohio State University, teaching Educational Psychology for Medical Personnel. Currently, Dr. Fohl Bailey teaches classes in introduction to psychology, academic & personal effectiveness, abnormal psychology, adolescence, and adulthood. Her focus is consistently on the application of classroom learning to everyday life. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, and reading.
