  • Ashleigh Richard is a Lecturer in the Psychology Department at the Marion Campus of the Ohio State University.

    She completed her undergraduate work at Purdue University, graduating with Highest Distinction and Distinction in Research Psychology in 2004. At the University of Iowa she received her MA in Psychology in 2006 and is a PhD candidate in the Cognition and Perception program.

    Her research interest is in visual cognition, particulary object-based attention, transsaccadic memory and understanding the function of visual short-term memory. Her dissertation focuses on the strategic control of visual short-term memory during scene viewing.
